Veteran Scottish rockers Travis were bursting with energy as they mixed old classics with new material.
The band, which as been going for over ten years, played hits Sing, Turn and Closer to a packed JJB Champion Arena, as well as debuting new songs.
The pros from Glasgow dipped into both their rocky repertoire and acoustic ballads, all of which were met with applause and cheers from a devoted audience.
Lead singer Fran Healy told the crowd “we are going to offset some of the rock with some acoustic balladeering.”
Partway through an acoustic version of popular track Flowers in the Window Healy announced “hang on a second I have just dropped my wedding ring,” the crowd reacting with laughter.
Standing in the JJB tent for Travis felt like being part of an intimate gig, an exclusive club where the band members are your mates and you’re all having one massive party.
The fun carried on right until the end with Healy telling fans to jump like a pogo stick to favourite Why Does It Always Rain on Me?
Seeing Travis perform was a really good time.
